Day by day

Your itinerary.

The sequence below is the planned Annapurna Circuit Cycling route. Daily movement can change with weather, trail access and the group. Your written itinerary confirms transport, rooms and the operating arrangements.

Day 1 · Kathmandu to Besisahar

Drive west from Kathmandu and follow the Marsyangdi corridor to Besisahar, the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit. Meet the support team, check the bicycles and review the changing road conditions ahead.

Meals
Meals paid separately; trekking accommodation is room only.
Day 2 · Ride to Chame

Begin riding into the Marsyangdi valley, using vehicle support where the surface or traffic makes that the safer choice. Climb through river settlements and forest toward Chame, the administrative centre of Manang.

Meals
Meals paid separately; trekking accommodation is room only.
Day 3 · Chame to Pisang

Ride beneath pine forest and steep rock walls toward the broad upper valley. Finish in the Pisang area with time to rest and prepare for the higher, drier terrain.

Day 4 · Pisang to Manang

Continue through the upper Manang valley with views toward Annapurna II, III and Gangapurna. The exact line uses the safest rideable road or trail for the group and current conditions.

Day 5 · Manang acclimatization

Spend a full acclimatization day in Manang. A short hike, bicycle check and guide briefing help the team prepare for the higher stages without gaining sleeping altitude.

Day 6 · Ride/hike to Yak Kharka

Ride and hike gradually above Manang toward Yak Kharka. Steeper or exposed sections may require pushing or carrying the bicycle, and the pace remains deliberately conservative.

Day 7 · Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi

Continue through alpine terrain to Thorong Phedi or High Camp, depending on acclimatization and lodge availability. Rest early and complete a pass-day equipment and weather check.

Day 8 · Cross Thorong La to Muktinath

Start before dawn for Thorong La, pushing or carrying bicycles where riding is unsafe. After crossing the 5,416-metre pass, make the long technical descent toward Muktinath.

Day 10 · Jomsom to Tatopani

Follow the Kali Gandaki corridor through Marpha and Tukuche, continuing toward the warmer valley around Tatopani. Sections may be rough, dusty or shared with local vehicles.
